That's very helpful and greatly appreciated.  Thanks so much for your useful and compassionate response.

My 27 year old son was dg with an astrocytoma and had a r-lobe brain tumor removed 9 months ago. Surgery removed 100% without complications. Looking to find others with previous/similar situations to find what kind of follow-up treatments are recommended/suitable. My son is adamantly against chemo/rad. not wanting even to consider it because of the side effects. Struggling to find answers, struggling against his strong stances. Looking for advice. Wondering if a wait/watch approach is totally stupid - or maybe justifiable given they removed 100% through surgery. Maintaining hope, worried parent, son is very set on watch/wait.  What should I do?
