I do agree with you and I going to take your wonderful advice.  I am going to keep the ENT specialist including cancer specialist for jan. I do like the 2nd opinion doctor.

I don't understand why he is not looking at the mass on my gum, it feels like it's moving and changing shape. He said it's a bone but, bone don't chane shape in a quickly manner. I am taking antibiotics,  I wonder if it's changing the size but it's still present.  The doctor states a cyst but, the location is not the same as the mass, if I am understanding correctly.  I will see the ENT doctor on jan. 2nd,  I think I am going to get frimer with him. There is a lot of questions he is not answering.  Like, why is he not doing a biopsy,  not focusing on the mass on gum, etc.

Its a relief.  I do appreciate support.  Long wait for an answer was stressful but, the answer is wonderful news.

The ENT said it is not a mass. Its a paranasal sinus has a retention cyst in the floor of the left maxillary antrum. I don't know anthing about cyst. I see the doctor again jan 2. He gave me of predizon, spasm meds and antibiotics.  I have spasms on left side of face. No testing or biopsy were done.

What kind of questions should I ask the doctor?

I will be more than happy to share about ENT appointment tomorrow.

I went through 23 days of solid worrying and felt totally alone. This is the first site that people who would respond.  Wonderful advice! I feel like I am about to get some results and take care of the mass on gum. Starting to feel confident,  thank you all.

I submit for an appointment with Jacksonville mayo clinic. My dentist called me today and got me a ENT appointment tomorrow at 1:30pm. I am praying that this doctor is companionable with knowledge.  I just to get answers with proof.

Thanks for the reply Sue. I live in Pensacola Florida and there is only 2 ENT specialist in the 4 surrounding county and they have a long waiting list. I want a doctor that knows mouth, sinus, nose, cancer and etc. I don't want to be shuffled between several doctors.  I did a lot of calling and tried to find a doctor that meets the qualifications that I can see sooner. I noticed more accurrance of lack of humanity in the medical field.  No matter if I am worried or if I do have cancer, I still can not get help. I don't know what calls or research left to do. I can understand why people get so frustrated and just push aside and not get the medical they need. I am hoping I don't have cancer and worrying was a waist of time. There is no place to get help in finding the right doctor or understanding the illness. I can't find anything about gum mass, pictures, xray, or is there such thing as gum cancer.

I been having teeth issues with no infection, loss of vision (80%), and sever headaches. My dentist took 3 xrays to confirm before telling me that I have a mass on my top left 1st moler after the fang tooth. I have no molers. The dentist referred me to oral surgeon or ENT. The oral surgeon referred me to an ENT. The ENT specialist appointment is close to 3 months away. Now worried and don't know what to do.
