    Hi there, I too was diagnosed with this in May 2013 and am just a sconcerned. I was told I had 5-6 years left (on average) but I struggle to find any long term survivors making it difficult to stay positive. Maybe those that do survive long term don't really find the need to come back to sites like this and just get on with life.....I dont know. I hope it all works out well for your husband. J

      Sarah, Regardless of the research you have done on the cancer, if you didn't do everything to try to find the answer, you could not have lived with yourself thinking "only if". I was recently diagnosed and my first response was/is to try to do as much research to find ut what it is that threatens you and what can be done to beat it. I think that's what we as humans do.             Thanks Amanda, Keep me posted about the second opinion i would love to know if there is much of a difference. I havent heard of Duke University but assume they are leaders in this field. I live in Western Australia so it may be  alittle too far to travel... Cheers

              Hi Amanda, I was diagnosed a month ago, had the tumour removed and I start Radiation today followed by Chemo'. We are in the same boat a you and you family, there seems to be so much information on the internet and the Doctors we have met so far seem so busy and clinical. Ill let you know how the treatment goes. Cheers, James

              I suffered a seizure at work a month ago and they found a tumor and operated removing it a few days later.

              My results came back and I have Grade 3 Brain Cancer.

              From being a very fit, optimistic, 51 year old father of two beautiful girls I am dreading what is in store for my future.
