Hi chantoutou. Drop the dread of 2nd TP. It only makes you misarable. You got to do it so make the best of it. Find you some good reading, pick out 1 of the nurses and make a good friend and talk about common interests. I took old Red Skelton tapes to watch. Just try to prepare and make it go better but go with a good attitude. This is the only place I wished time away. Keep the faith and keep us informed. Jimmy

Hi Cathy. Hope your friend is better by now. I didn't have any trouble like that but did have off and on nausea, and still have it. I had forgotten what the dr's said after my transplant until I had a beer or two with some friends (maybe 3 beers max) and the next day felt aweful. My wife reminded me that my system is that of a new born baby and can't take what it use too. If I go out side and do some work that is ver...

Hi. I took 10mg revlimid for only 12 days and had uncontrolable itch which became a rash on my back and all soft spots like arm pits, bend of elbow, belt line and privates. Only thing that relieved the itch was rubbing alcohol. Called my doc and he said stop taking it. It stopped the itch the next day and dried up like a sun burn. I had looser bowel but not running to the bathroom. Doc said nothing else to ...

Thought my history would help someone. I am 54 and was diagnosed with Multiple Myaloma in 2008 with a single tumor in my hip. Got it with 25 rad. treatments and thought that was it. My oncologist (if you want to call him that) said for the next 2 years t...

Hi. I have multiple myaloma and did 40 treatments of velcade with dex before my stem cell transplants and didn't have the rash but my skin felt like it had an old sunburn the whole time and had dry, hard bumps on my arms. I think it is a trate of chemo. Thanks for the post. They want me to start rev. as a maintenence drug for the rest of my life and I am trying to decide if I want to do this or not. I am leaning towa...
