My wife has painful bowel movements that appears to be associated with elimination of the CRC chemotherapy medications.  She is on 5FU, Avastin and Ironotecan.  Any suggestions to mitigate this pai.  She uses hemoraid pads and creams as that is what the pain is like.  Had fu colonoscopy that revealed nothing.

God Bless you Curefordaddy.  I know to some extent what its like to hear this.  My wife has CRC metastisis to both lungs and liver and is only in her mid-forties.  Surgery is not an option as I understand it.  Ideally, you want them to be able to do liver surgery resection.  I hope he has a good outcome.  Is he going to follow-up now with chemotherapy?  Best of luck.

Dear Jengen12, Please detail your mom's Dx as my 46 year old wife has innumerable mets to lung as well as mets to liver. Started chemotherapy last week but seems at this point resection is not an option and just trying to buy time. Please share hopefulness. Thank you.
