          Hi there. My husband was diagnosed 2 years ago this month stage 4 esophageal cancer meets to liver and lung. He's been stable since last December? Started immunotherapy January/Feb 2018 and is doing great. They administered radiation last month to liver to kick it up a notch. Studies show radiation help invigorate treatment. Hoping for great results next month ? worst side effect from immunotherapy has been fatigue. ...

            Hello, I am sorry too :( My husband at age 46 was diagnosed November 2016 (stage 4, lung and liver) huge tumor in same place needed a feeding tube. He had a second opinion and opted for treatment with Cancer Treatment Centers of America. He has had various types of chemo and is now on keytruda for immunotherapy and is stable.               Hi there - I am sorry fo the bad news. what stage are you in? You will find lots of support here. If you can, bring someone with you. I am sure you wont hear everything they say. There are so many treatment options out there right now but don't limit yourself to one opinion. My husband is stage 4 EC with mets to liver and lung. he was diagnosed almost 2 years ago.                 Hi there - My husband in 2017 at 46 was diagnosed stage 4 EC. mets to liver and kidney (lymphs). he started chemo and did this for a year various meds and two or three week cycles. He has neuropathy because of it but he is down to small nodules remaining and is "STABLE". he is now on immunotherapy and is handling that well! his platellets were dropping too low on chemo so was perfect timing to switch and so far so go...

                  Hi there - due to how the liver metabolizes chemo, our docs advize against most oral supplements as they can interfere with treatment. Initially my husband was taking curamed and bosmed. now he is on immunotherapy instead of chemo and we use topical preventative essential oil - Frankensence.

                    Hi there - my husband has not has radiation at all (yet) but he did need a feeding tube when he was first diagnosed back in November of 2016. We used Jevity and Ensure to put weight on but it was a strict regime throughout the day. He started with chemo various medications the first year and is now on immunotherapy and doing well on it. I am not sure if your father will regain taste but hopefully will be able to eat ...

                      he also had feeding tube inserted, was removed a few months after chemo as he no longer needed it...
