    he is on keytruda since jan/february. no new growth since diagnosis in 2016. they did radiation on liver in october which is supposed to help keytruda work better. we see the protein levels in blood are higher so it is working and no new growth.       Hello Rick. My husband was diagnosed stage 4 November 2016. He is on immunotherapy now and stable. I definitely suggest you check the referrals on here for treatment. My husband goes to cancer treatment centers of anerica.

        Donald, I am so sorry to be reading this sad news :( If you were my husband, I would wish for treatment and to be around as long as possible but to remain hopeful.                 Hi there. My husband was diagnosed 2 years ago this month stage 4 esophageal cancer meets to liver and lung. He's been stable since last December? Started immunotherapy January/Feb 2018 and is doing great. They administered radiation last month to liver to kick it up a notch. Studies show radiation help invigorate treatment. Hoping for great results next month ? worst side effect from immunotherapy has been fatigue. ...

                  Hello, I am sorry too :( My husband at age 46 was diagnosed November 2016 (stage 4, lung and liver) huge tumor in same place needed a feeding tube. He had a second opinion and opted for treatment with Cancer Treatment Centers of America. He has had various types of chemo and is now on keytruda for immunotherapy and is stable.                     Hi there - I am sorry fo the bad news. what stage are you in? You will find lots of support here. If you can, bring someone with you. I am sure you wont hear everything they say.                       Hi there - My husband in 2017 at 46 was diagnosed stage 4 EC. mets to liver and kidney (lymphs). he started chemo and did this for a year various meds and two or three week cycles. He has neuropathy because of it but he is down to small nodules remaining and is "STABLE". he is now on immunotherapy and is handling that well! his platellets were dropping too low on chemo so was perfect timing to switch and so far so go...
