Hi, I have stage 4 PC been on lupron since 2012, oncologist took me  off 2 months ago because psa was staying low, he said i was an exception to the rule, meaning i should have already been gone, i've had no bad side effects coming off the lupron, i know you can't always depend on psa, had blood work done the other day psa was still low, go back in 2 months and check again, just remember God Is In Control

I deffinately agree with what you said, I too was looking for a forum to talk to other prostate cancer fighters, don't know if this forum is active alot of out of date reply's.My name is Bobby and I'm 63, was told by urologist in 2012 after byopsy I had stage 4 prostate cancer, an that chemo or radiation would do no good. so i've been on lupron since, which was told it would after time stop working, I too take it one day at a time, since the cancer has spread to my bones, back, pelvic and other places, was recently told I was very fortunate to still be alive, my gleason scale is a 9, I wear a cap that says, God is in control, and thats the way i feel, I would love to talk to anyone with our every day life and encorage each other to live every day an enjoy it
