Dear Trudy & Tracy, Once again, I'm so sorry for not being on the site this week. John started ( again ) everyday raidation, still on chemo pills at home, & today re starts the infusion chemo. Of course he is spending most of his time in the bathroom. Last week they re weighed him & the good news is he gained another 22 lbs. on top of the 33lbs. he gained since his surgery, so if he loses weight, it won...

Dear Trudy, I cannot believe this !!!  All that you & Bob have gone thru and to find out it was a mistake. Well, thank God for that. I'm sure your system will re adjust to this horrid situation, then you will sleep like a baby. Please know you & Bob are always in my prayers. They are actually starting this chemo next week. I cannot believe how long they put things off & all the while, this monster...

Hi Trudy, It's so good to not only hear from you, but to hear that both you & Bob are doing better. Yes, this is a roller coaster ride. I will tell John about re checking the spot they mark, every week for the radiation, I never thought of the body changes due to the weight loss. Thank you for that input.Prayers, Hugs, & Love to you & Bob Your Friend Kathy

Good Morning Everyone, Trudy, I'm so happy to read Bob is doing better. How are you holding up ? All seems to be going a little better here. John spoke to his surgeon Tuesday night & I heard him talking about the " Herceptin" they are giving him. From my end of what I heard John told him that he is getting this 1 X every 3  weeks & according to what he read, this has extended life up to 5 years. He said...

Hi Trudy, Oh God, I was so hoping for better news. I am so sorry to hear Bob is having such a terriable time of it. There are so many other medical problems that come with this disease. Just when you think you have one thing under control, another pops up. It rattles my faith in the treatment that seems to work for short periods of time, then wham !! something else happens. I would think that Bobs heart rate, when ...
