    Thanks so much for your message. I hear a lot of cases where doctors just cannot distinguish necrosis from a new tumor. So frustrating for all of gbm patients and family.  The radiologist said we should continue with the temedor as we are now.       Hi, I'm sorry you have had to enter into this battle for your mom. Most importantly right now is to know that no matter what the doctors say about life expectancy being very little, there are so many exceptions to this number. There are patients living with GBM for 14 years some less some more.  There are so many cells in that tumor that it is hard to know which treatment will kill those bad cells.  Most l...

He too went in for the 3 month mri and a new growth showed up and the oncologist said the same thing, that is is strange and not the normal.
