I have done a lot of research, please be careful of all the cancer scams! Discuss alternative methods with your Doct...

Once I was diagnosed, my Team of Doctors started on me immediately. It wasn't 2 or 3 days before my chemo was scheduled. I would get an expert opinion but I would not wait 2 more weeks, just my opinion! Praying for a good treatment plan that works!

I agree, look for other alternatives. I skip chemo from time to time just to gain weight, my Onc removed the Alimta after a year, I am currently on Avastin every 3 weeks and so far it is working! Last 2 scans were stable. . I go to MD Anderson in Houston and hope to of beaten this cancer!

Thank you Gailpug and I agree! I was diagnosed with stage 4 NSLC adenocarcinoma in Nov 2014, currently on maintenance chemo (Avastin). My last two scans showed stable, nothing active! I asked for a break and was given a 6 week break!! Very excited to get my strength back and gain some weight. Again, thanks for sharing your good news...I'm a believer! Lisa

Karen, Haven't heard from you, how are you? Weather in Texas has been so warm and really enjoying the outdoors, we are also putting in a pool, exciting to watch! When will you complete the hard chemo and move to maintenance? Hang in there, I have been praying for you. Sincerely Lisa
