    I don't want to frighten you but I feel compelled to share. My best friend's first indication of pancreatic cancer was ascites and she was diagnosed at stage 4. Initially, the fluid was an indicator of her illness. Not long after, despite 2 paracentesis procedures, her belly continues to be distended and the bloat is because of tumor growth.       My MIL started to vomit something that looked like coffee grounds at the very end of her life. Apparently, it was "old blood" in her stomach. Maybe an anti-emetic drug like compazine? I am not a clinician. I'm so sorry.
