  Unfortunately, the steroids and new stronger antibiotics did not work. The node is actually bigger. She has an ultrasound scheduled this Thursday. Her appetite is non existent . She also came to me thursday night complaining of pain in her groin area. I was unable to really feel anything , but she insists its another "ball".   My sweet baby girl is 8 years old and this mom is scared. Two weeks ago this saturday my daughter came to me to show me her "bump" in her neck. I felt it. It was about the size of  a penny. On m9nday her teacher texted me about her lump in her neck and her complaining of headaches . Following day i had her in to her pcp. Pcp checks for strep, it was negative , so she did blood work.
