Watch out, with diminished exercise and chemo, up to a third of cancer patients get new cases of diabetes. Get a super blender, and work up some recipes for smoothies, carbs or sugar, even healthy fruit sugaris not at all what you want. BTW, your oncologist won't bother to tell you this, most don't care a whit.

I'm not sure that anyone can say "Incurable" to almost any cancer, maybe God, but I doubt if he's set up as an oncologist down under. With the mind numbing array of druds and doses, and the simple FACT that each cancer responds diferently to each cancer regimum, you just can't make that guess. "Incurable" is like a football coach, either football, telling a team they are born loosers before they take the field,...

Just spitballing, but either he misheard, or was talking to a real idiot. Especially at diagnosis, commo gets real confused. Go for 2nd and 3d opinions

Mercifully, you must be reading diferent survival lit than I got, this can be very survivalable. I also was diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal, spots to liver and both lungs involved Best place we found was Columbia Prespterian in NYC, Helmsley Center, they specialize in it, have tons more experience that most, if not all. Do what was suggested on the dietary front, also exercise as you can; in blood work, ch...

2 things (stg 4, 2011) I like to compare cancer and combat. all the hoopla about 'courageous fights' and the such, it is all dumb luck, both of them. that said, accepting fate, or god's will, takes a lot of stress off, and stress will kill you, attitude has so much to do with things. As to diet? who the hell knows? If we took all the suggested supplements, who knows? I believe in most of the Indian cult...

first doc has missed his calling, must be a soothsayer. No idea what might happen, not enough info, but first suggestion, is get a 2nd and 3rd opinion. NY Presbyterian, Cornell Weil is where I went, on the colon side, they might just be the best. No one really knows how chemo etc will work on one patient or another, God is in charge, all he askes is that we use our heads.

First, don't believe the docs, if they knew for sure, they would be God. different drugs and approaches work/don't work on different patients. Stay on the effacy of meds, so many doctors will prescribe, then just stay on the drug, but some hospitals specialize in measuring the effects of drugs, dialing them in so to speak. What ate you doing with diet? Zero sugar is touted, also vitamin D, also horm...

Funny, my first was a IV, liver and lungs all involved. Here we are, 5 years later, just had the scope cancer free, whatever that means. They sort of blew the diagnosis, lungs were walking pneumonia, liver cleared up in subsequant pix, tumor was real enough. I think the bottom line, is that each cancer is as different as the person it hits, and drugs work differently on different people, a lot of research...

Hell, there are also many sites that give anecdotal evidence that the oil does help in some cases. Cannibinol research has been spotty, because of both the Draconian drug laws, and the force of the pharmaceutical corps, who face a multi trillion loss, if drugs like this are shown effective in treatment, and don't kid yourself, the biggies control most every college and university research facility out there. Ev...

Listen, cancer is like combat. I love hearing about how people "heroically" fought cancer, or bravery in the face of the enemy, but we all fight like the dickens, some win, some loose. Some stuff works for some people, some does not, it is an exact science. Use your head, eat right, try suppliments, oils and whatever, shop youe docs like your life depended on it (it does) biggest things in my recovery, 1, 2, 3:...
