I have no other cancer, I am waiting to get a FNA however, they will only be aspirating the largest nodule. I was hoping since they are presenting different they would biopsy more of them. Thanks so much for taking the time to answer :)

I don't get the difference in nodules, some are solid, some are solid and cystic, which are worse? The biggest one seems to be mixed, does that make it more of a chance of being cancer? Can mets from another area present in the thyroid as nodules?

Thank you for replying..... just wondering if it could be something else. Hard to believe both my parents would have pancreatic cancer...... absolutely devastating!

I can't believe I am back here again..... My Dad passed away 11/09 of pc, my friend died last month from pc and my Mother went to the doctors today and they told her she has a dilated duct in her pancreas. Everything I am looking up points to pc, has anyone on here developed pc after having been dx with a dilated pancreatic duct?

I am so  truly sorry for your loss. I lost my Dad to pc 4 years ago, I just kept thinking, I was glad the cancer could no longer use his body and would finally die. It is so painful to watch someone you love go through this, I promise you the good memories will reign. I chose not to let that cancer define my Dad, it wasn't who he was..... he was love, he was a husband, father, grandfather, coach, insurance agent...

oh please, when someone comes on with their snake oil and gets shot down, they come back under another name with no profile and no other posts to try and prove their point..... get a life! Diana you are an angel! If you have anger, which I did not detect (read my previous posts in this thread if you want to see anger) you are entitled to your anger!

My Dad died of pancreatic cancer on 11/06/09. My father was an allstate insurance agent for thirty five years,he was a R.I. State Representative, town council member, school board member, baseball coach, but more importantly he was my Dad. I refuse to let that cancer define his life,he was worth more than that. His love lives on in me because LOVE never dies. I will be reunited with him one day when JESUS calls me home, what a great and glorious day that will be.
