Dear Lord! I do not visit this thread much any more as I don't like the overbearing tone I am reading from some posters but, having read these last remarks from Dr. Strum, I am just shocked. Do you think Daniel is some airy-fairy personality pulling unsubstantiated statements out of thin air? I, and many others can assure you that this is not the case. He writes with not only personal experience but as a witness to t...

That would be good to know. Also, any IVs at all? Somehow, in my bleary-eyed-I-need-coffee morning mode, I did not ask the obvious question, How are you doing? I hope that everything is going better for you and that the 3BP is doing its job. xx

Thank you for sharing that Mar... I feel very bad not giving him the antioxidants like resveratrol and green tea, and blueberries.

Anyone who is reducing intake of antioxidants (foods and supplements) during 3BP therapy, what do you do on your "off" days at the weekend and/or during breaks between cycles? I am not sure if I should load my husband up on them during these times as they are very helpful in terms of supporting the body.

There are so many details. I was looking at a cytokine inhibitor for my husband's cachexia today...LEF has one, but it contains EGCG, which is contraindicated with 3BP. I sometimes feel like screaming with frustration.

Regarding your last sentence, J... just ugh! So if you have prostate cancer and are on androgen inhibitors, you might not benefit from 3BP? I must have missed that post.

Ah, that makes sense if it is being done in a clinic. I just cannot see compliance otherwise.

Thank you Dumb...truly appreciated. At the moment, we are using Omega-3, colostrum, BCAAs. We are not doing NSAIDS as celecoxib made my husband feel ill but starting up again on that tomorrow. The oncologist won't prescribe thalidomide due to SEs and heart murmur. There is a new drug/chemical that has been shown to halt and reverse but it is $9000 US for the 12 weeks needed to see if it works and I would have to get ...

That is my concern, Jet, because my husband has advanced cachexia. The problem with the calorie restriction mimetic is that it contains antioxidants like resveratrol. I usually administer the 2mg/kg/no buffer in 2.5 hours, so maybe he can eat at 5, then wait three hours and go to bed at 10:30, which is late for him as he needs lots of sleep. Also, he usually gets a 650 calorie smoothie before bed. :(  Just not s...

Regarding this protocol. I would be thrilled if someone could suggest precisely when to infuse if one cannot eat 3 hours before, 3 hours during, or 3 hours after. That's nine hours. I guess one could eat at 4, infuse at 7, then go to bed hungry.Perhaps that calorie restriction mimetic that Life Extension sells might help.
