Thanks so much.  Now he is having a swallowing problem due to the Fibrosis tissue in this throat and he is aspirating fluids so he has to have all of his food pureed and no thinner than honey.  He is so thin and so discouraged I keep feeding him but he eats less and less.

I have a great recipe I would be happy to share.  I think you could probably handle it on your own to tube feed with the right tools.  She can make it in advance but you need to feed every two hourse while awake.  It will make a big difference in your ability to survive the treatment.  How many radiation and how many chemo.  What kind of cancer and what stage?

I think there is a definite need for those who have survived the ordeal and those who have cared for them.  Maybe we can start something going as a flow of information for those just beginning their journey.

Are you peg tube feeding him?  I have a great recipe I would love to share.  Takes a little doing to get the stock of products but completely sustained my husband.  Blood values stayed great and gained two pounds.  Can I help?
