I’m a year and a half post surgery. I get reflux about once every other month and it’s usually because I did it to myself. I know what foods and amounts I need to avoid but at time I just can’t help myself. I do the popcorn thing about 4 times a week. The microwave 100 calorie type are the ones I eat. If I don’t do the popcorn a handful of saltine crackers seems to work for me also.

Had my esophagectomy on Mar 15 2017. Like everybody else it's difficult in the beginning but now I'm living a normal life. Yea, I have some bad day with terrible acid reflux but to few to mention. God Bless and best wishes to all.
