My dad was taking it also for 6 months for his prostate cancer but developed vocal cord cancer- not related to his prostate cancer in any way-  while on salvestrols. So another failure here as well.

It started OK for the first few weeks.  After a couple of months he developed swelling in the legs and began throwing up frequently. The oil wasn't being digested and was sitting in his stomach. It got to the point where he had to give it up.

Hi Lilian, Do not rely on salvestrols alone. My dad developed vocal cord cancer AFTER being on 6-12 thousand pt. salvestrols for about a year for his prostate cancer. Laser surgery has thus far eliminated his vocal cord cancer. His prostate cancer is incurable and he is currently on hormone therapy. We are fortunate as it  is non aggressive prostate cancer and the doctors have told us given his age-78- he ...

Hi Zachari, My dad was taking 6000-12000 pts.  for about a year along with the recommended supplements, essiac t for his prostate cancer. He had an initial small drop in his PSA but that was short-lived. Unfortuantely while on salvestrols he developed vocal cord cancer. He is now 77 and hasn't smoked in over 30 years so that was disappointing ,to say the least, that this cancer showed up&nb...

My dad quite possibly had an intitial response as indicated by a small drop in PSA after 3 months on salvestrols. This was his first decline in 4 years. So we were hopeful that it was working. That didn't last and following PSA's showed increases. Developing vocal cord cancer almost a year after being on salvestrols showed how ineffective this treatment was. My dad hasn't smoked in 30 years. Gerry Potter has claimed ...

I agree with Dochas. My dad was on them for a year so there goes that theory. What is very misleading are the earliest case studies where people claimed they were cured without any other treatments within 3 months!

I'm sorry to hear about your loved ones passing away. For your information I am not a doctor.  I am just a son trying to help his father. If you read the earliest of testimonies you will find fantastic outcomes using salvestrols. My dad had prostate cancer and we decided to try them as an experiment and promised to disclose the results- good or bad. Of course we were hoping for the best results possibl...

My dad took them for a year- 6000-12000 pts for his prostate cancer.  Not only did it not work for him but he was also diagnosed with vocal cord cancer after almost 1 year being on salvestrols. He hasn't smoked in 30 years and didn't have any symptoms of any vocal problems until recently.  The doctors told him the vocal cord cancer was not connected to the prostate cancer in any way.
