In answer to your question about turmeric and specifically Circumin, if my wife is found eligible for the clinical trial in Indy next week, she will be getting a medication along with the chemotherapy drug Irinotecan, a med called Meriva. This a combination of medical grade Circumin with something to make it more bio available to the human body. Hope this helps.

I have an update concerning Mary's battle with this horrible disease. Mary Jane attended a meeting in Indianapolis with a representative of the 'Genome Testing Tumor Board' concerning the results of the genetic testing done on the metastatic tumor removed from her liver last November. It was determined that there was an increase of the SEC-2 gene and Mary was recruited to participate in a phase 1 clinical trial invol...

Thank you so much for the kind words and positive thoughts , and this goes for everybody on this forum. After meeting with Mary Jane's primary oncologist we were told the single seconday urachal adnenocarcinoma mass in the front of the left lobe of her liver has grown from 1.7cm to 3.1cm in 47 days! Almost doubled in size in a month and a half! Apparently grade 3 urachal cancers are extremely aggressive. The plan is ...

Hello, My wife and I met with a medical oncologist at Simon Cancer Center which is affiliated with IU Med Center in Indianapolis. Because Mary has a 1.7cm tumor in her liver that grew there while she was receiving 5-FU, the oncologist here wants a second opinion. After looking at her records and me explaining in detail he looked at her and said "Let's just cut that out of there!" Wow! He explained since there is onl...

I am so sorry to hear about your father's reaction to the meds. My wife was receiving 5-FU as an adjuvant therapy after surgical resection of a tumor later identified as grade 3 stage 4 urachal adnenocarcinoma. According to the surgeon and urologist, the margins were all clear. The medical oncologist was concerned about the suspected rupture of the tumor about 5 days before the actual surgery and since the biology of...

My wife, a 50 year-old female was diagnosed with urachal adnenocarcinoma in January 2015 after being told for a year or so she had an ovarian cyst and some sort of hematoma in her pelvic region. After the biopsy was performed the pathology came back as "highly suspicious." She was referred to a gynecological oncologist for possible hysterectomy and removal of any malignancy he found. The Gynonc suspected endometrial ...
