Thank you for your reply.  I feel so wrong to ask how much longer does he have.  I guess I feel like if they know or thought I should know, they would tell me.  I guess it just feel safer to google it.  Again, thank you for your time.

My husband has been fighting Bile Duct Cancer for 13 months.  He recently had 2 strokes from bleeding in his brain, which I am told is due to the blood thinner.  They have since taken him off the blood thinner so the bleeding in his brain will stop.  Will this make the many many clots in his body start moving and multiply?  I have also been told that he has some swelling in his brain.  After ...

My 45 year old husband was diagnosed a year ago with stage IV, with a 99% probability of either pancreatic or bile duct cancer.  After fighting the cancer with chemo for a year, he is again hospitalized for a high white blood cell count.  The doctors aren't saying much...Does anyone know what is happening?

thank you so much for your help.  Am I correct in assuming that things are not necessarily getting worse....just changing?  In November his CA 19-9 was 1200...now it is 15,000.  What would cause that?

My husband (age 45) was diagnosed 04/30/14 with stage IV pancreatic cancer.  After several different chemo therapies, FOLFIRINOX seemed to have the best results.  Today after seeing the dr, he is being changed to Gemcitabine and Abraxane.  Is this a stronger chemo?  The results were showing decreased metastases, except in the right lobe, particularly in and around the dome, have progressed.&n...

My husband (45) was diagnosed 11 months ago with Pancreatic cancer.  We moved him to Cancer Treatment Center and they changed the diagnosis to Main Bile Duct Cancer...I am not sure what the difference is. His tumors are in his spleen, gallblader and lungs, liver.  Either way it is stage IV.  I notice on his records under the chemo to stop 07/07/15.  Do they have to stop chemo after a certain numbe...

Finished his 3rd round of chemo.  Had a CT yesterday to see if the chemo isn't working.  He has an appt to see dr next week, to start his next round, and get the results.  His doctor called this morning and would like him to come in tomorrow morning to go over the results.  Is this normal?  Why would he want him to come in earlier?
