      Thank you Diana for your kind words of encouragement.  May I ask what CTCA recommended for supplements? I called CTCA and they won't see me because of my insurance.  Also, I was not offered radiation for treatment.  I am seeking a secound opinion after my next CT.  I then will know where I stand.  I fear my medicaid insurance may be why I am not givin more treatment options!!           Thank you for your reply and kind words of advice.  I'm having my ninth chemo treatment tomorrow and am feeling down.  My doctor doesn't give me any hope.  He said they won't do surgery if it doesn't remove all the cancer.  Does this sound right to you?  I have a tumor in my liver and in my spleen.  He said he assumes I have cancer in my peritonium because of how advanced my cancer was w...

            I am going to seek a second opinion, I live in small town Wisconsin and am on medicaid.  I am afraid I am not going to get the best care because of my insuance.  I need to know what questions to ask and I appreciate any advise you can give me.  If my cancer if shrinking do patients usually get surgery to remove tumors to the liver after the chemo?  I'm so scared.               moepettit Go to a good cancer hospital. They will have very quslified doctors there. Yes ....tumors can be removed from the liver after chemo. But you need a good qualified Dr. My liver tumor was successfully removed with clean margins. It was in a very difficult position also. It butted up against the vena cava. Praying for you.

            Are you still available for advice. I could really use some.  My doctor says I shouldn't have any more surgery.  I have stage 4 w/ probable mets in peritoneum. Also 1 in liver and 1 in spleen.  Help?

              Hello  I too have had an ileostomy and same chemo treatment except for the panitumumab.  Is this some thing I should be asking for?  I am not sure I am doing everything I can.  I'm a 50y old single mother with out much support.  Where do I get craniosacral therapy.                 I have stage 4 colon cancer with mets to liver, spleen and my Dr. says he assumes it is in my peritoneum.  Any survivors out there who can advise me?  I'm 50, and a single mom of a 14 year old daughter. I can use any advise on treatment( so far I've had 8 rounds of chemo.  Should I be doing more.   I had surgury to remove my colon, ovaries and omentum.  Please any advise out there?
