    Hello Cecillia.  My husband was diagnosed with PC last September and had a Whipple Procedure almost immediately after diagnosis. He had 6 months of of IV Chemo Therapy (Gemzar) weekly for three weeks and off a week so 18 treatments total and 28 radiation treatments Monday through Friday each week with oral chemo (Capecitabine 1300 mg twice daily on days of radiation).       You give those with this devastating disease hope.  My husband was diagnosed last September 2017.  He is receiving Gemzar 3 weeks out of a month and is to receive it for 6 months and radiation there after.  His blood counts have been two low to receive it twice now since Oct 31, when he started. He did have the Whipple procedure.  Cancer had entered 6 out of 16 nodes examined but did not invade an...

        My husband was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last September. He served in Vietnam 69 and 70. We have filed a claim but have not received a decision. Pancreatic cancer is not one of the presumtive diseases that are approved; however, a few cases have been won from what I read, mostly those that are associated with diabetes. Hopefully, your brother filed a claim for the record and who knows maybe the Veteran's Admin...
