        my husband has oligo stage 2 and has only had radiation (first) he had it done in july last year (he is 38 now)  they put him in the study Radiation and chemo at the same time and randomly pick who get chemo.  he was not choose for chemo.    as of friday the tumor has doubled in size and we go see the chemo doc this thurs.  What I have read in the last year I would have had him done chem...

          sorry to here you are fighting this demon.  My husband also has it.  his did start growing and we are both very scared.  but I am trying to be possitive.  There are many treatments out there.  what i have read is that once you have this that it is never cured BUT, I have read many more success stories that people are living full normal lives, with just some extra doctor visits.  so that ...

            is there one chemo that is better for oligodendroglioma  than other brain cancers.  temdor seems to bee the norm,  bave also seen CCNsomething.  My husband goes to the med onocoligist on thurs and I want to be educated before that way I know what to ask.  (i am an information junkie,  the more I know the better I can help him fight this demon)  sherry

                  My husband has oligo and had radation last aug.  He had MRI friday and the tumor has grown an inch in the last 3 months.  The cancer team at cleveland C.  meet monday to tell us whats next Chemo.   It is in operable.  Does anyone know how well chemo works?  I know everyone different but I would like if someone has had chemo that stopped the tumor growth.  Does anyone have some ...

                    ty,  We will get through this, its just really hard.  once ssdi is approved that will help with money.  then we can start to get rob part time work, or a hobby that will help his self-esteem.  his tumor is finally stable and seizure undercontrol.  time to work on our mental health and marriage.  it is our mental health because we both are suffering from depression and anxiety due to tumo...

                      What kind of work do you do?  we are still working on the SSDI.  If he does not get it I am not sure what we will do,  because he is going to have a hard time getting a job.  Then even if he do get a job it will be very difficult for him to do the type of work he is trained for.  If he take a different type of job he will need one that pays and will bring him some self worth or he is just go...
