I'm 68; just diagnosed with squamous cell laryngeal cancer. Came out of left field (and I don't even like baseball!). First doc at a well-known NY teaching hospital did a botch job of the seemingly simple surgery. Now I'm looking at a summer of daily radiation. Quite scared. Support is my wonderful husband and mom. Hate to offload all my feelings on them constantly.  Can you help?  Thanks.
