    Hello, Please keep the faith.  Unfortunatley for my husband it was stage 4 and too late.  Same tumor, etc...Anything found early is highly treatable.  This is a hard to treat tumor once it spreads.  Keep researching this NET.  There is also a good website and good doc's across the country that specialize in NETS.  http://www.netpatientfoundation.org/

      My husband had this. Please go to Memorial Sloan. There is a CTrial for Poorly Differentiated Large Cell Neuroendocrine Carcinoma. My husband fought it and did not survive. The drs think that the radiation killed his healthy cells. After research upon research. We think that we should've gone forth with the clinical versus the radiation. You never know if your making the right choice with these things but I wish...

        Sorry about the misspellings. I typed from my tiny phone. I don't know the exact name but it's for BRAF mutation. I'm soooo Over this cancer thing. I just want our lives to be normal Again. I want these tumors to shrink so he could be eligible for surgery Or other things besides chemo. He's depressed and our lives Are affected.

          My husband just found out that he is eligible for a genomic targeted therapy clinical Trial through memorial Sloan Kettering in NYC. We have two more rounds left from the standard chemo (Avastin, irinotecAn and 5fu) and at the end Of July we will do a scan.             No you're not the only one. My husband is fighting both NEC and Adenocarcinoma on his liver that metastasized from his colon. Looking into prrt treatment. Go to http://www.heartlandcarcinoids.org/treatment_options/prrt_information And there is a list of US doctors that do this. calling the dr. In Houston. Forwarding all my husbands paperwork. Hopefully we can fight this thing.
