Multiple lymph nodes enlarged in groin

by SunnyDM - February 27 at 12:50 AM

Hi everyone! I am a 35 yr ovarian cancer survivor and a 3.5 yr breast cancer survivor. 3 weeks ago I started having severe pain in my groin but with back problems I assumed it was sciatic nerve. After a week saw my chiropractor who told me the pain was not due to my back or my hip being out of alignment. Thinking it may be bursitis. So another week goes by and I have an ultrasound of my leg for an unrelated long term vein issue and they found “several” enlarged lymph nodes on the left and one on the right. The largest being 3.5x2.8x0.7. Besides the pain I have had NO other symptoms. Everyone is in alert mode now and I am having a CT with oral and IV contrast on Thursday of chest abdomen and groin. I am worried and anxious. Is there ANY probability that this could actually not turn out to be cancer? What have your experiences been? Hoping for the best preparing for the worst as I was diagnosed with Li Fraumeni Syndrome so cancer of any kind is always in the back of my mind
