Sorry i haven't gotten back sooner. Still don't know friends gleason level, however, i do have a question that maybe you can help with. Does it seem normal to have to wait 6 months after surgery, before starting Radiation therapy? He said, because Dr. said his body needed time to heal from surgery.

Hello Anna786. I have not had a problem with liver, but did have Kidney cancer. I say this because my surgeon is out of the University of Colorado Medical Center, in Denver. The hospital is not only ranked #1 in cancer research by the National cancer Institute, but it is truley a place of lives being saved. I have a friend who 'had' stage IV bladder cancer. The cancer had taken over his entire bladder from the outsid...

I thought the same thing, but i was wrong. Talk to your social worker at the hospital. They can help you find all kinds of financial help. Also, start a GoFundMe page. It's free and you will find that others will help where they can. At the very most, you can maybe call MD Anderson and talk with a physician. Sometimes the hospital like that one, will have resorces to help pay your trip for you, and give you a place t...

Hello Lynn. If you are indeed living in Dallas, my home town area by the way, then I would have to agree with Peggznd. You should definatly contact MD Anderson. They due cutting edge work there. It could be your gold mine. That and the fact that myself and others are praying for Johnny's health and your peace of mind. Please keep advised.

Well I don't know if he is taking any chemo right now, but I too had high blood pressure and was borderline diabetic. My cholesterol also went up, but it was mainly all due to the tumor and the drugs. What hospitals have you gotten opinions from, if you don't mind me asking. I too will be praying for both you and your husband. What is his name?

Hello. First I would like to say how sorry that I am to about your husband condition. I too had stage 4 RCC, but they were able to remove the tumor from where it had reached into my arteries and also removed the left kidney. I am not sure why they have said that your husbands tumor is inoperable, but I believe that you should maybe get a second opinion. I say that because a now friend of ours had been diagnosed with ...

I see. Well as I am not real familar with it, I did have fantastic results for my kidney cancer, from University of Colorado Medical Center in Aurora, CO. They are ranked very high in the nation for their treatment, experimental and success rate when it comes to cancer. You can google them and see what their results are with wife's cancer.

Never give up hope. There are amazing things happening everyday. I live in Colorado, and there is a hospital here that is doing some of those amazing things. A woman in Alaska "had" stage 4 breast cancer and was told that there was nothing else that could be done for her. She chose to give the hospital here a chance, because she had heard of their progress in cancer treatments. They put her on a clinical trial drug, ...
