They did a CT scan with dye on my Mom, but I'm sure there are other ways to diagnose it.  I truly hope and pray they find nothing and you have a happy and healthy baby.  Hang in there!

My Mother went in and they diagnosed her with a UTI and then a kidney infection.  The back and side pain became unbearable.  The ER first said it was kidney stones.  Then they took her back for another CT scan with dye and determined she had a mass.  They biopsied the tumor and it was diagnosed as PC.  She passed away in two months.  I couldn't even wrap my mind around it.  Other th...

My heart hurts reading about your partner's journey.  I know the road is hard and very difficult for the patient and the caretakers.  I hope and pray your partner keeps improving and  keeps the side effects at bay.  Best Wishes.

No one should be afflicted with this horrid disease, but I am especially sorry someone so young would have to deal with this.  However, catching it early along with your youth may be the winning hand.  You will also appreciate so much more than others your age.  I am sorry for the pain you are going through, but I hope and pray you will beat this damn disease.  Best wishes!

This is a horrible disease and it makes me happy that some beat it.  I'm happy you are one of those, especially at your young age.  Enjoy your life!

I too, do not feel God only answers certain prayers.  I believe we all have our time and when it's up - it's up.  We all have trial and tribulations along the way and some are dealt a better hand than others.  However, my faith comes after one perishes from this earth.  Happiness for those who overcame this disease and rejoicing for those who are in heaven.

I am very sorry for your Mom and her family.  PC is an awful disease.  I can only tell you what our experience was.  Mom seemed fine, but said food wasn't tasting and she had dropped 14 lbs without trying.  Other than that all was good - she did a physical and they told her "she was healthy as a horse".  End of Feb beginning of March she got a horrible backache.  It was misdiagnosed as a...
