Your reply really felt good, I think I needed to remember that, sometimes I become overwhelmed with the side effects of having had oral ca.??

Thank You, but things are getting better, so the healing went slow, but everything seems to be healed. Now that being said, I will be going in this Tuesday for bone planing, so I feel like things will be ok. Then in 3 weeks the dentist will reline the temporary dentures as now they are way too large. I have to say this was a lot harder than I thought it would be. I appreciate everyone’s kindness.

Managed to keep teeth until now, but still having problems after oral surgery done in Dec. Lots of bone spurs, still hoping that goes away so as not to have bone planning done. Surgeon worries about healing with that. Dry and burning mouth after tx, but recently with accu puncture been ha...

I had tonsil ca, 4th stage, mid level. I am just five years ca free in several months. Sorry to hear that his has come back. Could he get a g-tube in place to keep up his wt. and energy.Besides using like jevity high calorie he could put all sorts of protein and health drinks in it to retain some sort of health while he fights this episode. I too had my life time dose of radition to that area, and am experiencing som...

Thank you Jeff, I really appreciate the moral support. I agree with you about the group support whether here or in real time, however there are no groups within easy distance for me. I esp. agree about the street advice, most often I find that to be a true sense of support, even the therapists were using it d/t lack of experience with tonsil cancer. Most days I do appreciate that I am still here and can function beyo...

Thank you for the infor., I will try the Crest mouthwash , I didn't know they had alcohol free, I already use the fluoride toothpaste, I rely on my waterpic, I have to say more than anything. It's disheartening and scary d/t the healing problems..........

I am going to try the gel, but I am afraid it's alittle late, things are suddenly braking off faster than I could even imagine, at my appt the other day, the dentist was checking a tooth I was hoping could be saved( the filling fell out ) and before I knew what, it was in his hand. So that couldn't be saved. Silly but I nearly started to cry, it took control not too. I need to accept what ever comes my way........I w...

Thank you for the encouragment, I might try the lemons even now. Glad to hear you were able to save your teeth, it's amazing how many things we take for granted until we might loose them.
