      My dad had a colonoscopy recently , whilst still on the table and with scope still insitu the clinician performing the proceedure told my dad he had cancer , i feel the way this was passed onto my dad was the most insensitve and unprofessional way i have heard of and i am a nurse of 18yrs.After the proceedure dad was told a sample had gone for biopsy, and again told it was cancer.After mri scan and bloods etc we went...

        Hello, You are a very courageous person.I admire your views .My dad only got diagnosed a few weeks ago and just had mri etc so we dont know anything much yet.I was worried about his denial reponse fearing the reality will sink in and weaken his abilities to cope for the journey ahead .Reading your story i think everyone is an individual and copes in their own way that others should accept.I wish you lots of happy run...

                Hi , i seem to have stumbled onto this sight by trying to find information on rectal cancer.It will be one week tomorrow since my dad stood in my kitchen and tried to tell me he has rectal cancer.He was being tested due to aneamia.He has had further tests eg mri  scan and we are waiting for the results and staging.He has really bad loose stools following meals which is worrying me and he,s getting paler and thin...

              HI , my dad had recently been given an initial diagnosis of rectal cancer , awaiting further test results and staging.Im 39 yrs old i have a lovely family , im a mum and a learning disabilities nurse .I feel overwhelmed and would like people i can talk to and who need someone to talk to .
